Area priorities:
- Supporting customers with employment advice, including signposting and information about qualifications available, and possible cost implications of this.
- Focused interventions to help support our customers and communities with the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.
- Coordinating with Bracknell Forest Council’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy to better promote the health of our residents in Priestwood.
- Develop relationships with local police to understand the demographics behind issues around drug dealing and county lines, and use this knowledge to partner with local agencies on addressing this issue, for example youth provision.
- Work with partners to promote local services available to the community e.g. via social media, word of mouth, advertisement etc.
- Work with communities and partners to improve the litter/fly tipping issues in your neighbourhood.

What have we been up to recently?
Bracknell, as a new CIP area, has been incredibly welcoming. We have plenty of partner agencies keen to work with us, we've already delivered a number of successful initiatives for the community.
Employment and Support Hub
We’ve launched the Employment and Support Hub at our local community centre, bringing Silva and Abri services straight to our customers.
Community Action Days
We’ve organised three community action days with fantastic results. The days are an opportunity for customers to get minor home repairs completed internally and externally, get waste and bulky items removed, access our tenancy support and employment services and, importantly, they're a chance for us to have some great conversations about the local area and what the community would like to see. We also had some partner agencies in attendance to provide support, including Berkshire’s fire service and local police.
