What we're about
We’re a passionate bunch. We think we can make a real difference. Homelessness, poverty, inequality, a lack of affordable housing. They’re all linked. They’re issues that affect so many, young and old alike. And we don’t think that’s right. We want to give people the chance to dream big and be who they want to be. Homes are at the heart of everybody’s lives. And we exist to help make good homes, and good lives a reality for everyone.
Every person has an important role to play. Whether you work out and about keeping our communities spick and span or you’re in the development team making sure our new homes are the best they can be.

Working at Abri
We’re a passionate bunch. So you’ll need to share our values and be keen to get stuck in. We’re pretty proud of our offices too. Forget drab, dull and boring. We’re all about inspirational spaces to meet up and discuss ideas with the team.
We don’t do 9-5. (But you can if you want)
We’re flexible and we’re agile. Family commitments are no issue. Prefer working at home? Then work at home. Like the office life? Then work in one of our offices. Like a mixture? That works for us too. We’ve got a few offices to choose from, from Yeovil to Eastleigh, to Windsor.
We trust our team to get the job done. You don’t need to be at a desk to do it. And you can work when it’s best for you.
We do have to mention that sometimes you’ll need to go into an office. (And if you’re in our trades team it’s quite tricky to fix a leaky shower from home). But the takeaway here is flexibility is king (and queen).

Who are Abri and what do they do?
We’re Abri, a housing association based in the south of England. We build, own, look after and sell homes that people can afford. Including homes for affordable and social rent. And homes to buy through things like Shared Ownership and Help to Buy. We also have houses for market rent and sale too.
And that’s not the half of it…
We know not everyone is fortunate enough to have a home. Homelessness, poverty, domestic abuse, and inequality are challenges people face every day. Finding ways to solve these challenges drives us.
And not everyone has had the same opportunities or life chances either. That’s why we help people with budgeting, finances, employment, training, health and wellbeing.
The belief that we can fix these issues, or at least make a dent in them is something shared by everyone at Abri. It’s what gets us up every day.

… are just some of our goals for the next five years.
